March The Mart

Today I worked the fundraiser, March The Mart. It is a walk from the 18th floor to the 2nd floor of the Merchandise Mart in Chicago to raise money for Special Olympics. I helped walkers stay on the right pathways and volunteered my time to help a great cause. It was so much fun, and very interesting! It was a little time consuming preparing for the big day, although it was very worthwhile in the end. I would really recommend anyone who wants to work with Special Olympics or walk next year to do March the Mart. It was very enjoyable!

Alex,

Good work overall on these blog entries. This post has potential, but it'd be nice to offer specific examples to help you develop critical insights.

I have wanted to do that walk for the past three years but I have always had something going on. Since I was little I have been walking around the Merchandise Mart for my mom's work. I think it is sweet that our school does this so raise money for something as important as Special Olympics.
